I'm Okay (I Promise) - XS
This genuine leather jacket is a piece about frustration. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and it’s not the end of the world. We don’t have to control every variable, nor do we need to invest so heavily in one particular outcome; as long as we’re honestly trying and operating in good faith, things are more or less going to be fine if not exactly great.
It’ll either be okay or it’ll be okay. Get out of the results business and invest in the present.
You can see that sentiment in the piece. The carefree X’s are pretty obvious, but if you look closely, you’ll see hints of brush strokes because that’s how I did the undercoat to give it a slightly chaotic look that the jacket retained even after the overcoat colors were sponged on.
It’s messy and regal at the same time. It catches the eye with the overlap between the turquoise and magenta, giving it a shimmery look that changes as it moves around in the light. It’s shy and self-effacing in its lettering while bold and proud in its overall design and color.
